As the craziness of the holidays and the New Year begins to slow down, you may feel a lull in your social media content. Not to worry, we have outlined how you can invigorate your social media this Spring!

1. Have Fun With The Holidays

This time of year may seem like nothing is going on, but there are a lot of holidays that can provide you with premium content. For instance, Valentine’s Day (February 14th) is a perfect day to show love for your followers. Thank them for always supporting you and pair it with a beautiful photo for the perfect post. Other holidays that may creep up on you include St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) and Easter (April 1st). If you want to avoid the cheesy green-themed post for St. Patrick’s Day, you can focus on the topic of luck to motivate your followers. Similarly, if you want to stay away from Easter eggs, find beautiful flowers that embody this time of year and add that to your feed. And of course, we cannot forget one of the most important holidays coming up, National Pizza Day on February 9th! Map out the holidays for the next two months and be prepared so you don’t miss any prime content opportunities.

2. Promote a Freebie

Whether you are a business or a blogger, there is something you can offer your followers. With the holidays now officially over, it is a nice surprise to receive a gift! If you sell a product or service then your best bet is to do a giveaway with what you already offer. This helps promote your product and create a positive brand image for your company. For others who are bloggers or influencers, you can get a little more creative. Are you a blogger that focuses on motivating women? Partner with an author to give away a motivational book. Or if your focus is food or baking, giveaway a cookbook or even a cooking session at the location of your choosing. Whatever it is that you are giving away make sure it ultimately pertains back to what you do or sell. The idea is that we want your followers to remember your brand and the easiest way to do that is if they can associate the giveaway back to what you do.

3. Get Outside!

Not only will this make you feel better but you can find premium content when you step away from your desk. As the days start to get longer, give yourself a chance to explore your surroundings. Go on a hike, take a stroll and enjoy the flowers, or visit a local botanical garden or national park. Along the way snap some photos and fit them into your posting schedule. This will add color and happiness to your news feed, which may need it after winter.
